Here’s a local merienda that completes every Pinoy cravings. I am a banana cue person, so growing up I didn’t like kamote cue much.
When we moved to Cavite, I often find a place to buy this…so I had to make my own.
- sweet potato
- muscovado sugar
- coconut oil
This is one hell of an easy cooking to do. Just heat up your oil to a boil and drop in your peeled sweet potatoes and sugar. Just keep stirring so that the sugar blends in with the sticks. After a few minutes, you’ll get this really satisfying afternoon snacks.
Just when you thought the kids will not like it…but they loved ’em!
