It’s supposed to be a Disneyland day on our 2nd day but the kids opted to save the best for last. So we took the Macau itinerary instead.
We had breakfast at KFC to pump up the day.
We took Cotai Water Jet from HongKong Ferry bcoz I read somewhere that it’s better than TurboJet in terms of cleanliness.Tips for mommies, bring along a face masks for your kids, kasi madaming sipunin at ubuhin na mga intsik. They are so rude that they don’t cover their mouth pag inuubo sila. They sell snacks for you to munch on. If you have motion sickness, better bring some medicine with you.
After clearing from Taipa Immigration, just board the free shuttles of the Casino/Hotels you want to go to. No need to fill in an Arrival Card. Your arrival card will be printed by the Macau IO in exchange of your Hong Kong arrival card.
We took the Studio City shuttle to see the Golden Reel Ferris Wheel. We’re not able to experience it since it opens at 12nn and we’re there an hour early. No time to waste so no waiting.
A Lego City of Studio City. The Giant Floating Orb at The House of Magic. The empty hallway of Studio City shopping area. There’s a golden plaque outside that commemorates Studio City’s achievement as the World’s Most Popular Selfie Spot. Here’s The Parisian Macao next to Studio City. If you have the extra cash, go try their Eiffel Tower. Ticket prices here. We didn’t take the promotion offered for Cotai Jet Ticket holders since I’m afraid of heights. The promo takes you to the 5th level observation deck of the Eiffel Tower. On your visit, always check the promotion offered by the Casinos/Hotels for your freebies. Here’s the replica of the Fontaine de Mers fountain of Paris. The Casinos/Hotels are just closed and connected to each other, we got tired of walking around. Sayang we didn’t get to see the Sky Cab at Wynn Palace.
We had a tummy filling lunch at The Parisian Macao Food Court.
Don’t forget to buy the Japanese strawberry vanilla ice cream for 35MOP. It’s to die for.
After lunch we went to Venetian Macau to see the Gondola ride. This place is much crowded than the last two hotels we’ve been too. We then went to Senado Square to see what the fuzz is all about. When we got there, ang daming tao. Haha. The exhaustion started to sink in. We didn’t stay that long. After having a few egg tarts, we head back to Hong Kong and took the 4:15pm ferry, this time aboard the TurboJet. Make sure to fill in your Departure card. I find the TurboJet better than Cotai Jet since it’s more spacious. I didn’t notice the difference in cleanliness since I’m too tired and just sleep it off. The fare is much cheaper than Cotai Jet.
We’re back in HongKong after an hour and too tired to continue with the rest of the itinerary. We did checked out The Peak Tram ride and the queue is too long plus it was drizzling. We decided to wait it off until the next day. We had late merienda at Starbucks Garden Road.
Our dinner was at the usual, Mcdonalds near our guesthouse.
And that wraps up Day 2.
